About Laura
Experience in exercise. Curiosity about how people move.
Laura Marchesini is the founder of Osteogym, a Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach with more than ten years’ experience.
Professional journey
Movement made clear and sustainable.
Laura began her career in Italy before moving to London and continuing to develop her work across strength, movement and exercise rehabilitation.
Her experience as a competitive middle-distance runner helped shape her interest in physical capacity and carefully planned progression. Today, she works with adults over 50 who want a private, individual and understandable approach to exercise.
Her aim is to translate technical knowledge into coaching that feels practical, precise and relevant to the person in front of her.
Education
A foundation in exercise science, rehabilitation and movement.
Laura’s formal education supports a thoughtful approach to programme design and progression. Her current osteopathy studies are ongoing and are not presented as a completed qualification.
A clear professional boundary
Laura’s osteopathy studies complement her longstanding work in exercise and movement. Osteopathy is not currently offered through Osteogym. It is planned only following successful completion of the degree and registration with the General Osteopathic Council.
Working philosophy
Individual, not intimidating.
Exercise should be understandable rather than overwhelming.
Programmes are built around the individual, not a generic template. Goals, current capacity, schedule and progress all inform how sessions develop.
Laura’s role is to provide close guidance, explain why an exercise is included and help each client build confidence through experience.
